| “When was the last time you emphatically broke something? The ceramic salt and pepper shaker offers you the opportunity to do it! The product comes in one piece and by breaking it, you make it useful”. “fragile” is a winning entry from the designboom competition “dining in 2015″ by Mey and Boaz Kahn. You can see the making of here and also buy one for yourself here.

| I just love Yaarit’s Cubed drawers! What a great idea to conceal the existence of the drawers! Yaarits says that “The furnishings were born from the desire to create objects that reflect a different approach and a unique aesthetic”. Well, I have to say that she did an excellent job!

| I just love the way Janine mixes leather and metal. Her designs are inspired by the simplistic magnificence of nature and the sensuality of color, form, material and texture. She has such a sensitive eye for details! You should check her Etsy Shop for more exiting creations. You can even visit her blog in order to find out what inspires her.

| As Ori wrote in his web site “The status immortalize the figures at play or at rest. Two status standing face-to-face exemplify a typical Israeli scenario which is not (to say the least) overwhelmingly beautiful or aesthetic, yet – for some reason – the status convey a visual artistic experience, spark an interest an evoke a smile”. I have to admit that I hate the Paddleball players who play at the beach but I love these status! Well done Ori!

| Such an unique concept! Talila Abraham, the designer, says that “the designs reflect the desire to preserve the special and personal touch that was an integral part of all handcrafted objects historically”. I couldn’t agree more!

| Noga is a 2009 Graduate of the Industrial Design Department of Shenkar College of Engineering and Design. Noga designed lighting fixtures that combine special plastic elements manufactured using technology she developed. “I developed a unique method of processing polymers which creates plastic objects that are, in form, truly organic. In the process there is a delicate balance between control and chaos, and as in nature no two objects are identical.”

I especially love her “Urban Flower” collection which include a series of jewelry inspired by various flowers mainly orchids and lilies. I’m so glad Shelley decided to pursue her dream! And to think that she is Israel’s 2006 Surfing Champion too.

| Inbar shahak is a textile designer who uses textile techniques with unique materials to create special hand made jewelry. I agree with Inbal belief that “the greatest magic is the fact that one single thread can make up a story and bring it to life as a whole product whether it is a beautiful fabric, a cloth, or a glittering jewel”.

| Michal and Dekel’s concept of the common shopping bag for the Comme il Faut fashion house was reusing existing bags. I just love it! I better let them explain: “As our raw material, we chose cement sacks… we purchased sacks from the company that had been rejected for use. We chose to express the brand’s identity by means of adhesive tape bearing the companys logo. The tape states the fact that the bag was made of a sack that had been rejected for use.”

| I think I just died and went to heaven… Such a clean and minimalist design! Mother and daughter, Tammar Edelman and Elinor Avni explore contemporary jewelry-making while borrowing concepts from post-modern architecture. The unique signature jewelry combines classical forms of jewelry-making and modern design, creating a constant dialogue between new and old, classic and modern.
