| I had to share with you Timor’s inspiration, here goes: “A small case of multicolored threads I once inherited. A well-loved shirt, wrong sized, I couldnt pass on for its magnificent texture. A jar of buttons. A handkerchief with grandpa’s initials. An embroidered pillow cover, hole included. A romantic dress once found in a second hand shop abroad… The desire to sew these together, to make something new, was born of the materials themselves”. Pure magic!

| It all started when I saw a tiny illustration as part of a print ad. I started to do my detective work and found out that the illustrator was Sagi Ashin. He has such an amazing eye for the small details and the way he works with color… I especially love his Burge McCall set. I’m sure I’ll post about him again and again… Sagi’s Flickr page should be your weekly treat! You can get in touch with Sagi here: sagiashin {at} gmail {dot} com |
| I love the way Mora creates a relationship between her jewelry garments and the human body, “The exploration of different qualities of materials and their combinations, allows me to influence and transform them into an unexpected, hand-crafted creation”. Mora’s creations really touched me!

| This TeaSub is allover the blogosphere so, when I first saw it at SwissMiss I had to find out who is the designer. Then I found out that the studio is an Israeli studio! I was so proud! Studio OTOTO is one of my favorite Israeli studios ever! Yesterday all I could think to my self was “I am seriously getting one of these”, so today I went to the store only to find out that I have to wait till next week… oh well. Ori Saidi and Dani Gassner you are so creative! BTW, Ototo means “in a moment” in Hebrew.

| Yoav collects beverages and beer caps in order to create unique jewelry, “precious metals” as he calls them. I love watching the way each bottle cap comes to life!
