Ira Aurora | It’s All About The Birds

  • The Original Sketch
I don’t really know why, but spring makes me think of nature… strange, I know, since I’m all but a nature girl!
Ira’s Second Nature project is the perfect spring tee.
Love her sensitive eye for little details.

Student Break | Kobi Perez | Hair

Kobi is a 2009 graduate of the Industrial Design Department at the Holon Institute of Technology.
His jewelry line for men is called Harry. “Harry brings us back to our roots. It is a unique male decoration, a primitive grasp of the superior concept of hair”. The same technology that is used to manufacture brushes is used to manufacture his jewelry. The fibers of the brush mimic the feathers, plants and hairs which were used in primal jewelry and body accessories.
Would you buy one for your significant other?

Gregory Larin | Japanoise

“Vinyl records, books, rubber casting, aluminium comb, gold, a dry orange peel and scraps of garbage- from these things I created a collection that presents me and my metalworking.”
Say no more Gregory!
His Flickr page is my favorite place these days.

Miniature never looked any better!
You can read about the making of – here.

Sahar Batsry | It’s Almost Passover

I’m not a huge Passover fan but when Sahar introduced me to his Volcano I have to admit I loved it!
Volcano is a unique Passover plate made of delicate glass plates set in a specially treated silicon sheet resembling a traditional white tablecloth. This is a surprising piece, binding tradition with innovative materials and structure.
If you want to have your own Volcano all you have to do is just contact Sahar. But, If you are in the mood for some other exiting objects head to Sahar’s blog.
