Her blog textile me blew my mind… You should take a look for yourself!

d-Vision | On-Off exhibition | The Sky Is The Limit

  • Olla
  • Draw me a lamb(p)
  • 97% Soap
d-Vision is a friendly environment for all those fresh industrial design graduates. For their 2010 Salone Satellite show, in the Milan design week, they showed a collection which explores various applications of LED lighting and pushes it towards surprising limits. I have to say that I’m loving this Olla lamp! I’ve loved balloons since I was a child.
I have to hand it to their curator, the gifted Ezri Tarazi who put together an amazing and inspiring collection! His studio web site is a place for endless inspiration. Don’t forget to check it out!

You can download the show catalog here.

World Break | Marta Sànchez Oms | Colorful World

I have been a Marta fan for quite some time. Her way of treating each stone with respect and understanding amazes me! Her unpolished forms turns each piece into a one of a kind creation!
I especially love her transperent ring and hope that one day, soon enough it will be back on her etsy shop ;)
You should visit her stunning blog, you’ll be able to polish your spanish while gazing at her impeccable taste.

Student Break | Guy Koenigstein | Independence State Of Mind

Today is Israel’s independence day.
For some reason I feel like Guys project, Family Stories, deals with something that is familiar to most Israelis. It made me think about my own family and my own comfort zone here in Israel.

Noa Zohar | Spider Vibe

When I got Rachel’s Zoe newsletter the other day, it took me back to those rings I saw somewhere… I couldn’t really remember where was the first time I saw them and I don’t have any information about the designer, except for her name.
It would be such a waist not to share her amazing work just because I didn’t find her details… I’ll keep searcing and let you know what I come up with.
In the mean time, enjoy Noa’s webby work.

Cygalle Shapiro | She Loves Me, She Loves Me Not

  • The transformation
Such a smart concept!
Cygalle’s serving spoons emanate from one basic form. “By breaking off pieces, variety and change are created, handing back to the consumer part of the production process.”
I admit, the name of the project “She Loves Me, She Loves Me Not” made me love it even more :)
