Coral Cohen | It’s Alive!
Bactus is an attempt to raise Jewelry in biological means. Embedded in glass containers are bacterias and fungus that are growing and evolving constantly.”
What do you think about this crazy idea? At first I was’t sure what I was looking at and if I wanted to take a second look. BUT, there is something quite fascinating and enchanting in Coral’s rings… I’m happy to explore but at the same time I’m grateful that all these crazy creatures are behind glass doors ;)

Gregory Larin | Phantom. Wearable Body Parts
Opening nights… well, I sure don’t go to a lot of them. However, if there is one I’m really looking forward to is Gregory Larin’s, and today’s the day. I can’t wait to see all of Gregory’s creations up close and personal for the first time. To think of the long way this wicked designer has gone through, and finally now a commercial collection! Over the years Gregory enjoyed playing between the lines of art and design and to witness a wearable collection is truly a dream come true. As always, I expect to see lots of skeletons bones and in between. BTW, all I can really see are seahorses…

World Break | Stephane Halleux | Animated Sculptures

  • Monsieur Hublot | Detail
Leather, metal, wood pulp and recycled materials are all behind Stephane Halleux’s sculptures.
I’m not sure why I just came across his imaginative and surprising world only now. Stephane’s Monsieur Hublot is my favorite out of the bunch. In the near future you’ll be able to watch this character come to life in a short film.

Gregory Larin | Japanoise

“Vinyl records, books, rubber casting, aluminium comb, gold, a dry orange peel and scraps of garbage- from these things I created a collection that presents me and my metalworking.”
Say no more Gregory!
His Flickr page is my favorite place these days.
