Imagining a ginormous machine, so you’ll be able to fulfill your vision, is one thing, actually building it, is a whole other story! I guess Max Cheprack likes to go the extra mile, his extrusion clay research led to a line of stools. I can tell it was a long and overwhelming journey. By Pushing clay through a Muslim inspired template Max created these unique stools and opened a door to some new possibilities and adventures in the ceramic world.

Student Break | Racheli Gabay Schaffner | Frozen Tea Party

Yesterday was all about Peter Pan but today it’s about Alice in wonderland‘s tea party and the Cheshire Cat courtesy of Racheli Gabay Schaffner. Racheli researched the world of two dimensions and was drawn to the photography and animation aspect of it. She wanted to represent a series of rhythmic movements as ceramic objects and she defiantly succeeded freezing this tea party’s madness :)
BTW, one of the artists that Racheli was inspired by is Peter Jansen.
Racheli is a graduate of the Ceramics and Glass Department of Bezalel Academy of Art and Design.

Daniel Zelig | Fragile Chains

By now, you all know I’m weak when it comes to accessories and especially if it involves necklaces in all shapes and forms. I have no spine! Trust me, I know my weaknesses too well :)
I guess that’s way Daniel Zelig felt the urge to send over a sneak peek into her latest ceramic heaven. Don’t get me wrong, since I first stumbled upon her white and fragile world I’ve become one of Daniels biggest fans. While considering her next move, Daniel knew she is gunning for the wow factor (second time in a row:) and that’s exactly what she did! FYI, the collection is inspired by industrial chains and is called “Elements”.

Noga Weiss | Fragile Moon

How do you picture your moon?
For Noga Weiss the answer is really obvious. Her moon is made by ceramic molding. “This technology enables manufacture of a series cast from the same mold. After extraction from the basic mold, each item is easily changed to its desired design to give it unique character and grace.”
There are so many pictures and moons to choose from! I wish I could have posted all 101 pictures of these super minimalistic yet clever pieces.

World Break | Aedriel Moxley | American Party

Imagine the Whitehorse dinner table being served with Aedriel Moxley’s fun and festive dinnerware. I can picture it ;) There is no better way to celebrate the 4th of July. If you party, you should do it with a bang. BTW, have I mentioned I’m big on cupckaces and bright colors lately?
