There is so much seriousness and sadness around us and someone once told me that’s life. Well, those of you who know me in person, know I don’t like reading the news or even be around it. I prefer to deal and surround myself with all the beauty that life has to offer. So, when I first discovered Geraldine Nishi’s delicious collection I found myself starring at it and was thrilled that I found a designer, who makes it clear from the gecko that she is all about the finer things in life like food, sweets and having fun in general.
How refreshing is that?!

Since I first bumped into Natalie Ve Tamar almost six months ago, I kept wondering if there would be any chance I’d be blown away again. And if you are wondering…the answer is YES! The attention to the smallest details, the perfect stitches and just the right curves! I feel like Tamar Shalem, the lady behind it all, should be on my speed dial ;)
BTW, can you guess which pair has my name written all over them?

Last night I couldn’t sleep, actually I woke up at 3AM and found myself looking for inspiration on the web. Luckily for me, one of my sweet blogger friends Morgane, just commented on one of Hagar Wertheim’s posts. And so, right there and then my journey began. An illustrated blog and one with lots and lots of illustrated shoes is my kind of heaven! 1 Hug a Day (such a sweet and lovable name, isn’t it?) is by far my best revelation, thanks to Morgane ;)
Don’t know what about you, but I’m going to visit each an every day from now on in order to get my daily hug!
Oh, and this is the apropriate time to wish Hagar lots of luck in finding her dream job!

Opening nights… well, I sure don’t go to a lot of them. However, if there is one I’m really looking forward to is Gregory Larin’s, and today’s the day. I can’t wait to see all of Gregory’s creations up close and personal for the first time. To think of the long way this wicked designer has gone through, and finally now a commercial collection! Over the years Gregory enjoyed playing between the lines of art and design and to witness a wearable collection is truly a dream come true. As always, I expect to see lots of skeletons bones and in between. BTW, all I can really see are seahorses…

Today wasn’t the best day… Thinking about it, the only thing that can cheer me up at this moment is a yellow bag.
I know it sounds strange but… I developed an unexplained weakness for yellow… well, just about anything yellow but this big yellow bag by Kisim, makes me feel like it’s gonna get better soon.
See you all tomorrow, hopefully with a more energetic vibe.
