My Japanese Break | It’s Complicated!
Today is Israel’s Memorial Day.
With all the melancholic songs on the radio, the quiet streets and the sad memories, I feel like this particular picture, which I took while in Kyoto says it all…
And in three little words: It’s complicated!
Kyoto is full of tangled electric wires and I found myself fascinated by the way they turned into a perfect composition.

Just Wanted to Say Hello
Hi there my sweet breakers!
The past two weeks have been a crazy ride. Japan is indeed a magical country and then some…
There is so much that I want to share with you but for that to happen I need to beat this crazy jet lag.
SO, tomorrow bright and early I’m going to start working on a bunch of Japanese posts.
My favorite shops in Tokyo and Kyoto and the absolute must tea rooms are just few at the top of my to do list.
But first things first, a few hours of cozy sleep and then I’ll be fit to do it all.
See you tomorrow back here.
xoxo

If you want to share with me my experience, head to my Instagram feed, I’m sure it will be on Japanese fire ;)
Speaking about Japan… you should visit my friend, photographer Sivan Askayo’s brand new blog and read her 72 hour in Tokyo.

This year won’t be less special!
Let me introduce you to my InstagramBreak.
My obsession with Instagram is well known so it was only fair to bring it into my DesignBreak. Here you’ll be able to get a glimpse of my every day life… don’t worry, it will only be the most photogenic bits of it. Hope you’ll enjoy it as much as I do and if you feel like being a part of my Instagramic journy,

Breath of Designed Air | A Week with Kinetis

Last week was a special one. The ladies behind Kinetis (a non profit organization that aims to share with the world the creative side of israel and it’s people) invited me to join their design tour. I can’t explain in words how exciting and inspiring it was to meet Jeff aka Booooooom, Andrea from designboom, Amy from Dezeen, James aka We Heart and Ben from DeTnk. These five know a thing or two about blogging and doing it the stylish way and there is nothing like talking about your greatest passion with those who don’t think you’re crazy!
They all blog for their living and they made me believe that I’m on the right track. Thank you guys from the bottom of my heart. it was a real pleasure!

Happy New Year, Breakers!

In a few hours we will be celebrating the beginning of the Jewish New Year. Around here, we call it Rosh Hashanah.
May this year be one to remember. Full of colors, shoes and a sea of accessories :)

A Day From Hell…

I’ve been experiencing a panic attack earlier today when my DesignBreak was violated by a hacker and let me tell you something, it WASN’T fun!
After many hours I can finally breath again. Sorry about this mess and I promise to make it up!

Working on my tan with the Mr right by my side (I think he got a better understanding of my tanning abilities) is just what the doctor ordered.
Hope you liked last week vacation theme and now I’m eager to share with y’all lots of new and exciting designs straight from Israel.
September, I’m ready for you!

Our endless conversations, coffee dates on Monday mornings, exciting holidays and so many other little random stuff that we share make me feel SO special.
