Kisim | Yellow Mood Swing
Today wasn’t the best day… Thinking about it, the only thing that can cheer me up at this moment is a yellow bag.
I know it sounds strange but… I developed an unexplained weakness for yellow… well, just about anything yellow but this big yellow bag by Kisim, makes me feel like it’s gonna get better soon.
See you all tomorrow, hopefully with a more energetic vibe.

Stella and Lori | Minimal Neon
I have a deep feeling that I could easily be one of the Blank sisters best friend! Vered and Zohar Blank know exactly what makes me happy. A good old leather bag, minimal design and a dash of color. That’s it. Nothing more, nothing less. You see, I’m easy to please! With their neonish collection, there is no doubt in my mind that I have to have a Stella and Lori bag in my ever growing bag collection. The fact that their collection is presented as wrapped candy, fine and stylish makes me love it even more. Is it too childish to ask them to be my BFF?
Oh, you can read an interview with the two at Carolina Benoit’s blog.

Shiri Hyman | Bag It!
Shiri Hyman lives in a world of her own… It’s like she doesn’t need anyone other than her super wicked brain! Seriously, whenever I bump into her designs, I know they all have the Hyman’s magical touch. It’s like she puts her spell on things… A while back I saw her uber chic woodish bags and since then I wanted to share them with you. Luckly for me, just the other day I bumped into them while visiting Marmelada. BUT, the bad news is, shiri decided that it was time to move on to other exciting fields which involve home decor, the Hyman style. All that is left to do is wish her lots of luck while remembering the good times we shared ;)

Sometimes it feels like I have the best job ever, but at other times… It’s really difficult visiting site after site, shop after shop and seeing all these beautiful objects that I just have to have. Heartbreaking, I know! I need to do something about this sudden urge to constantly buy stuff. Well, my immediate action will be makeing a wishfull thinking list for stressfull times but till then I will post my favorite must have of the week (don’t kid yourself, it will be mostly or 99.9% bags).
1. Taplin Kaleidoscope for the love of bright colors and prints // 2. Part Time Tote for letting my magazines feel special // 3. Riley Tote for my sudden obsession with polka dots.

Eva Mendelbaum and Kisim | Inked Bags
I think we should all have lots of collaborations. The outcome is so refreshing and exciting!
Noam Zucker, the lady behind Eva Mendelbaum used her mad illustrated skills and joined forces with Yael Rosen and her Kisim empire. Together the two created Carnivorous, a mini collection of leather bags inspired by the body tattoos of the Japanese Yakuza. There is something quite intriguing about the way they decided to use wild flowers as their main motive.
BTW, Noam was kind enough to share with us a glimpse of the behind the scenes sketches and I couldn’t be any happier!

I’m starting to think that if we don’t really celebrate Christmas around here, maybe I should adopt this Valentine’s Day theme… I mean, buying yourself or your loved ones something small or big is not really the issue here, even the smalest gesture will count, however buying me a bag, from this little wishlist I asmbled here won’t do any harm ;)
Oh, in case you’re wondering, there is a good reason for each bag on my list:
1. Adele Tote for the love of stripes
2. Envelope Clutch for learning to size down my ginormous bags
3. Foldover In Green for my never ending green crush
4. Richmond Market Bag for stylish grocery shopping

UnaUna | The Bus Driver In Me
Leather bags… It seems like it’s all I can see around me these days… Does this mean that I have to get it done already and buy one?
The obvious answer is yes but… I think I should wait for a while cause Almog Weiss and Mira Gafni, the ladies behind UnaUna, one of my ultimate fav shoe designers decided to start experimenting with designing bags… Their bags are made traditionally with raw leathers that makes it all look like the beginning of a long term relationship. All I can say is, say hello to my brand new bag crush!

I have a confession to make, since getting my first yellowish Cambridge Satchel it became my signature bag. Wherever I go, people keep asking me about it. I must admit that this obsession is going nowhere and I recently bought the brown one as well… I have a feeling that the pinkish one has my name written all over it. Just one more thing, I need to send a big thank you to my beautiful British friend Mor, who has no problem being my personal shopper when it comes to adding a new “Cambridge Satchel” to my ever growing collection.
And you my sweet and stylish readers, consider this as my early valentine love note to you ;)

UTEdesign | Color Blocks
I can’t remember when was the last time I wrote about something that has something to do with babies… Well, it’s not that I’m against it, it’s just that I prefer writing about real grown up accessories ;)
I guess there is always an exception. When I bumped into UTE‘s colorful world, at first, I couldn’t tell it was a diaper bag.
The colors, prints and the overall vibe screamed style! The two lady mamas behind this super stylish brand are Eti Nevot and Tal Ben-Ari. Oh, and just one more thing, I’m loving the yellowish logo. SO ca-yute!

The two sisters just released their first bag collection and I’m over the moon. Holy moly, I can see some damage being done tomorrow… after all it’s Friday and my credit card usually sees daylight during my favorite day of the week. All the good stuff is awaiting in one magical Etsy Shop.

SketchTex | Danielle Manor | Paper Baggage

I’ll let you in on a little secret, Danielle Manor is one of my favorite 2011 graduates from the Textile Design Department at the Shenkar College of Engineering and Design but till I write a proper post regarding her graduation project, allow me to introduce her paper world. Danielle’s bags are made out of a water resistant material which looks like paper and if there is a match in heaven, it’s paper and bags. You know I’m a bagoholic so… when I find the next best thing I have to share it with you. There is nothing like a paperish bag with the right dash of fabric ;)
You can show some love at the SketchTex Facebook page.

Anat Zamir | One Bag A Day

Anat Zamir is one of those gifted designers who can do two things at the same time. On one hand she designs jewelry and on the other bags. Can you imagine enjoying both worlds?! I’d die for that kind of talent.
At this moment I’m loving her minimal yet practical take on the school bag. It’s time to add a small bag to my XL sized collection ;)

Malinca | Mali Hollander | Frozen Color

Mali Hollander is a recent graduates of the Textile Design Department at the Shenkar College of Engineering and Design.
Since graduating, Mali worked on developing a unique textile material, which gives her the freedom to play with endless varieties of textures and colors. As Mali points out, her textures look like frozen color movement.
Each bag can serve as your daily dose of color. Don’t you agree?
BTW, I adore Malinca’s logo. That’s the web designer in me talking ;)
You can get in touch with Mali here: malinca2011 {at} gmail {dot} com

Kisim | World of Jacroki

A breathtaking catalog is not that common here in Israel so when I fist stumbled upon Kisim’s 2011 Summer catalog I was blown away!
Can you imagine designing an entire set out of fabric? Well, I guess Maor Zabar
thought he can handle it and oh … yes he did!
This intriguing papery world makes me want to have a cup of tea inside Maor’s wicked mind ;)
BTW, the duo behind these minimalistic bags are Yael Rosen and Orly Cohen Alloro.
