Mora Dimerman | Fragile Crochet Beauties
  • Clara Necklace
  • Luna Necklace
  • Lea Necklace
  • Lucia Necklace
  • Ethel Necklace
Can you imagine how long it takes to crochet a necklace? I certainly can’t!
At first Mora Dimerman experimented with cotton and wool while knitting soft and pretty accessories. From there she worked her way to mixing embroidery threads with silver and gold and now… with her new collection, she only uses gold and silver threads (!!!) It’s a crazy, crazy thing but I guess you got to do what you got to do, or in Mora’s case you just do what you were born to do!

BTW, I adore the fact that each and every necklace is named after a Latin or Hebrew name!

Leninka | Lena Maikon | Knitted by Nature
I don’t consider myself as one who has “good hands” and there is no way I will ever draw a straight line (thank god for Photoshop!)
Lately I’ve discovered one of the gifted designers, her name is Leninka aka Lena Maikon and she knits and knits and knits… “I knit all the time – everywhere and everything. It’s a kind of an obsession.”
You can read about Lena’s world at Etsy’s Featured Seller. If you’ll do so, you’ll find out that she is a former math teacher!

Tulala Jewelry | Tal Barouch | Crochet Joy

Crochet can come in so many different shapes and forms BUT there is something quite intruging in the way Tal Barouch mixes her knitting skills with massive crystals. The end result is a definite show stopper and I can honestly say I must lay my hands of one of these colorful beauties asap. You know how I am… I see something I like and I have to have it – yesterday.
At the moment Tal has only a fasebook page but i’m sure it’s only the beginning.

World Break | Otchipotchi | Paula Valentim | Snow White

Paula Valentim is one of my favorite ceramist these days and I find it hard to believe that she has been creating only since 2009. Her white world is filled with leaves and stones. I can imagine Paula walking down her favorite trail in her back door forest and collecting her next idea.
There is nothing I’d like more than to have a wall of Otchipotchi Stones in my work room.
BTW, for her recent birthday, Paula made this lemon cake with chocolate leaves. I’m loving these leaves and have to share it with you just because.

World Break | Crochettes | Desert? Yes Please…

While walking down the streets of Barcelona, I saw chocolate and pastries everywhere I turned! Well, I didn’t just look :). I guess no wonder I fell in love with those mini yummy creations by Alícia Roselló and Núria Brunet, the duo behind this colorful Willy Wonka world.

Student Break | Keren Levant | Liza

Keren is a student at the Industrial Design Department at Shenkar College of Engineering and Design.
Her project participated in “The intelligent hand”, a designboom competition. “In the rendezvous’ between Crochet and porcelain, nostalgic values, memory and functionality were all integrated. My idea was to make filtering objects for kitchen use. I managed to bring the textile world, the fashion and the industrial design come together”.
What can I say, The minute I’ll start spending time in the kitchen I’ll need it all! I heart those objects!

Orit Hadad | Crochet Jewelry

Orit is known for her Crochet Jewelries. For her upcoming Winter collection she made gorgeous dramatic necklaces.
I love the touch of the crochet and I think it enriches the beads. BTW, If you look closely you can see that the large beads are actually lava stones.
