Tamar Tal | Life in Stills | Fragile Moments
Over the weekend I went to see the documentary Life in Stills by Tamar Tal. “At the age of 96, Miriam Weissenstein never imagined that she would be facing a new chapter in her life. But when The Photo House was destined for demolition, even this opinionated and uncompromising woman knew she needed help.” Everyone who knows how it feels to watch your loved ones grow old will find this piece overwhelming. For me, the special bond between Miriam and her grandson Ben is priceless and a lesson to be learned. I can’t explain all the emotions that ran through me… Tamar, just wanted to say THANK YOU!

Student Break | Guy Koenigstein | Independence State Of Mind

Today is Israel’s independence day.
For some reason I feel like Guys project, Family Stories, deals with something that is familiar to most Israelis. It made me think about my own family and my own comfort zone here in Israel.
BTW, this is Guy’s graduation project from the Man and Public Space Department of Design Academy Eindhoven.
{DesignBreak found Guy here}.
