World Break | Tracey Neuls | Delicious Footwear

While I was on my way to one of my favorite perfume shops, Fresh, I got lost in the streets around Marylebone. Luckily I did! I ran into this ah-mazing shoe store. Well not just your ordinary shoe store. It has a big dinning table filled with sculptural and colorful shoes for your main course! I didn’t see this one coming ;)
Such a breath of fresh air! Oh… and another treat was the eeny, meeny animals in the window…
If I were you, I’d check Tracey Neuls’s blog, read an interview with the creative mind (and see some pics of the store).

Nir Meiri | Concrete. Nothing More. Nothing Less

Lately I find concrete as one of the key players of the design scene.
Hadas Shaham and UMAMY are the two that come to mind right away.

Since I first bumped into Nir’s concrete plates I’ve looked all over for decent images. Luckily I found it at his facebook page. I love the fact that these plates are so simple and let the food itself talk the talk. It serves as a bare stage for any ingredient or dish to shine through.

World Break | Crochettes | Desert? Yes Please…

While walking down the streets of Barcelona, I saw chocolate and pastries everywhere I turned! Well, I didn’t just look :). I guess no wonder I fell in love with those mini yummy creations by Alícia Roselló and Núria Brunet, the duo behind this colorful Willy Wonka world.

Blend-it | Meat As You Go

If I have to choose between a steak or a huge salad I’ll take the salad any day of the week. But, when it comes to eye catching packaging, my theory goes down the drain.
“The butcher’s block and knife were the iconic images for this project, showing the beginning of the journey towards a juicy, premium steak. In the design concept, we chose to show the world of meat and its culinary environment rather than showcasing the cut of meat itself.”

NY Break | Sweet Fine Day | As sweet as it gets

  • Oyster Mushroom Series no1 | 4 Fine Art Prints
  • Kitchen tea towel
  • Market Beets FIne Art Print
  • Kitchen tea towel
  • Oyster Mushroom Series no2 | 4 FIne Art Prints
I just love team effort and especially one that is all about the family.
Jenna Park is the creative director and her husband Mark is the pastry chef behind the Brooklyn confectionery company, Whimsy & Spice.
She photographs, styles and designs all the creative efforts behind the brand. Their Sweet Fine Day is a photo blog and what a photo blog it is! The photographs are eye candy and you can purchase the most artistic ones at their Etsy shop. My favorite item is the kitchen tea towel, which will add just the perfect touch to my white and lonely dinning table. You can get up close and personal with the duo right here.
