Student Break | Yael Cohen | What’s Your Fav Insect?
Clearly I’m not an insect friendly person to say the least, however A Bug’s life is one of my favorite animated movies. I guess that’s the reason why I didn’t turn my head away once I bumped into Yael Cohen’s Insect Definer iPad app. ;) Yael made it all look so intriguing and even charmed me into diving in and learning a bit more about the vibrant world down under my feet… I know it’s an Hebrew friendly project but there is no way I could miss the opportunity to share with you this beautifully made project. The attention for details are seen in any language. Right? Oh and Yael is a graduate of the Shenkar College.

Omer Inbar | Bug Light!
Bug Light by Omer Inbar is just hilarious!
There is nothing like giving your ordinary bulb a life of it’s own, and Omer just makes it work.
Even the tag line “your first pet lamp” is spot on.
It’s so ca-yu-te!

K.Brat | The Bugs and The Beetles
Just the other day I talked with a friend of mine and conffesed that I’m not much of a fancy girl. What I mean is, I let my accessories do the talk and not my clothes. However, once I bumped into Keren Brat’s The Sinister Crawl collection, a little voice inside my head made me reconsider my choices!
I can talk on and on about the impeccable pieces (but that’s a given!) but all I really want to do is take a moment and imagine my life as one of Keren’s sophisticated chics.
FYI, in what seems like a life time ago, I had the pleasure of having Keren as one of my One On One Breaks.

World Break | Maude Lapierre | Fly Away
  • 4 Insects Necklace
  • Grasshopper Brooch
  • Dragonfly Grass Earrings
  • Grasshopper Long Earrings
One of the things that never ceases to amaze me is that with each and every day I find a new creation, a new point of view, a new everything. In a matter of fact, this is exactly what keeps me going.
Maude Lapierre wasn’t a designer I’ve seen before but when I stumbled upon her delicate work I was blown away by her ability to capture the beauty of nature in such a minimal yet precise way. It’s no secret that simple lines and a dash of color can get you anywhere and Maude’s insects are living proof.
