Student Break | Iohanna Pani | Objectology

Iohanna is a 2009 Graduate of the Industrial Design Department of Bezalel Academy of Art and Design. I admit that at first I was drawn to the imagery, then I was fascinated with the concept. In her study, Iohanna deals with the question: what is the minimum form that an object needs to have in order to exist? As Iohanna describe her project it “explores the reciprocal relationship between science and design and examines the impact of computerized technologies on design in the contemporary world.” You can see more here and even watch the video here.

I love watercolors! When I saw the re-branding of the Magnolia jewelry company I had to share it with you. BTW, the amazing Oded Ezer designed the logo.

MiDekel | Comme il faut boutique | Eco branding

Michal and Dekel’s concept of the common shopping bag for the Comme il Faut fashion house was reusing existing bags. I just love it!
I better let them explain: “As our raw material, we chose cement sacks… we purchased sacks from the company that had been rejected for use. We chose to express the brand’s identity by means of adhesive tape bearing the companys logo. The tape states the fact that the bag was made of a sack that had been rejected for use.”

Koniak Design | Rhus Ovata Branding

I just like the simplicity in Nurit’s designs. Here is a branding for Rhus Ovata {SugarBush in Latin}, a fashion label by sisters Hadas & Einav Zucker.
You should check Nurit’s Behance profile.
