A while back I wrote about Lital Mendel’s origami like rings. A year has gone by and Lital kept exploring more prints and textures. She came up with brand new rings that are the same but different ;)
I can’t get enough of these rings. Seriously! The next step is putting a folding ring around my finger. Till then, you’ll hear a lot more about it. That, I can promise you!

Adi Zaffran | Bullet Time

Over a year ago, I wrote about Adi Zaffran’s Bullet rings. A year has gone by and Adi’s collection grew bigger.
“The rings that were created remove the bullet from its original function and they surprisingly turn into a bejeweled object and emphasize the beauty and aesthetics of the bullet when it is distanced from its surroundings. Every bullet retains memories and traces of the journey it underwent from the moment it was fired until it was picked up.”
I still have mixed emotions but… there is nothing wrong with controversy, right?

World Break | La Chica de los Anillos | The Joy of the Heart

We don’t have any royalty here in Israel but all this love parade and wedding talks got me in the mood for some minimal, close to the heart kind of jewelry.
It’s been awhile since I fell in love with a ring so minimalistic and gentle.
Oh… and the red dash of color looks like the finishing touch of a painter.
Love the fact that the shapes and the red coating aren’t that perfect!
This kingdom of rings is awaiting on etsy.

Nirit and Avi Berman | 100 Rings, 100 Identities

From time to time it’s nice to fantasize about high end accessories, don’t you agree?
The Bermans are a husband and wife team who believe that a piece of jewelry reflects the person who wears it. It has meaning, tells a story and carries emotional weight. I couldn’t agree more!
The couple are having mix and match ring parties in the upcoming months and in my eyes there is nothing more exciting then a ring party!

Lital Mendel | Fold It Away

In her designs, Lital takes something familiar and changes it into something that will surprise and create new perspectives and interest. For example, she researched a lot the concept of a diamond ring and how she can represent a diamond in different ways. She deals with the memories that are stored within the jewelry and their translation into something visual.
I can’t wait to find one of these “diamond rings” out there!

World Break | Yoon Jung Yun | Inner Message

A few years ago a Korean singer wrote a song about the sunburn mark that he found on his finger after he broke up with his girlfriend and removed a ring he had been wearing for a long time. This is the story that inspired Jungyun Yoon to make “Inner message”.
I admit… I have a person in mind that I would love to give him this ring… September 2nd would be the right date for me ;)
You can buy your loved one, one of these presous ring, right here.

Hadas Merimah | Seashell Ring

I’m looking forwarder to my long getaway this weekend. I guess this is why I see seashells everywhere ;)
I stumbled upon these lovely seashells rings by Hadas during one of my visits to the coolil blog.
Would you wear a shell on your finger?
I defiantly would!

Ido Noy | Miniature Love

  • Ring | Altneuland | Israeli Jewelry 5
  • TV antenna | On the Roofs of Tel Aviv
  • Necklace {of laundry} | On the Roofs of Tel Aviv
  • Brooch {air condition} | On the Roofs of Tel Aviv
I lived on an island for the last year. This is my only explanation for me getting to know the amazing Ido only last week! I went to see the Sequences | Identities | Israeli Jewelry 5 exhibition at the Eretz Israel Museum.
Ido’s Altneuland Ring caught me off guard. I stared at all those little details and couldn’t get enough of it. After getting in touch with the man himself I found out that there is so much more to see… “Among the countless points of view on Tel Aviv, my view as an artist who was born in the far north of Israel, sums up to one word: amazement.” Well, That makes the two of us.

Hadass Reisberg | Geometrical Rings

Thank god for facebook! Otherwise I wouldn’t have found Hadass’s geometrical and minimalistic jewlery.
Hadass told me that she gets excited every time someone thinks that her work is beautiful. I believe it happens quite often…
She began her way in the design world as an interior designer. Her desire to create lead her to jewelery studies.
Well, I guess it means you have to follow your heart :)

World Break | Marta Sànchez Oms | Colorful World

I have been a Marta fan for quite some time. Her way of treating each stone with respect and understanding amazes me! Her unpolished forms turns each piece into a one of a kind creation!
I especially love her transperent ring and hope that one day, soon enough it will be back on her etsy shop ;)
You should visit her stunning blog, you’ll be able to polish your spanish while gazing at her impeccable taste.
