| I’m not a huge Passover fan but when Sahar introduced me to his Volcano I have to admit I loved it! Volcano is a unique Passover plate made of delicate glass plates set in a specially treated silicon sheet resembling a traditional white tablecloth. | Inbal is a student at the Industrial Design Department of Holon Institute of Technology. Her project participated in the “It’s Aperitivo Time” designboom competition. When asking Inbal about the concept she answered: “I tried to get the essence of the tradition aperitif. In Italy, the aperitif is traditionally a drink with a small snack. | I just adore Efrat’s “Vanilla” take on the traditional paper cupcakes and I love her brilliant “Lock Cup” concept. A cup that is designed for people who share workplace facilities such as a kitchen. The cup has a hole which prevents people from using it. Only the owner of the cup can use his shaped key to close the hole, pour the coffee and enjoy the drink. What a startup!
