Aviv Kinel | Color Tubes to Rings
One of a kind rings make me super happy and I wish I owned one that is truly one of a kind.
I guess I should have known that the answer to my prayers is Aviv Kinel. Aviv, one of the more innovative designers out there, decided to go with color tubes and turn them into rings, yep rings!
I mean, how brilliant is that?!
Aviv mentioned that you can’t reproduce it so each one is unique, distinct and well… one of a kind!
Would you wear a color tube on your finger? I know I would, it’s a no brainer.
BTW, I’m still obsessed with Aviv’s latest collection.

Student Break | Liron Loval | Nailing It
Let me share a little secret with you: I’ve been following Liron Loval’s artistic foot steps since her first year student at the Jewelry Design Department at the Shenkar College. I know, it’s crazy! BUT as crazy as it is I felt like there is something special about this super talented girl, and now the time has come to share with you one of her latest creations.
Liron decided to experiment with wood and metal in the most obvious way so she chose nails and wood, however as you can see, the outcome in not nearly obvious (!!!)

Usually whenever I bumps into a new shoe catalog most of the time they all feel the same. The shoe is always center stage, usually on a white background and sometimes I spot an actual foot here and there. BUT this time it’s different, really different! The girls behind UnaUna (Almog and Mira) turned to some of their favorite artists and designers and asked them to create a compatible piece of art that will accompany each and every one of their summer 2013 collection aka Reaction. The outcome is refreshing, beautiful, sensitive and intriguing all at the same time.

Hydra | Testing The Boundaries
It’s been almost two years since I wrote about Highway, Adva Rozenshtein’s graduation collection. I remember how fascinated I was by this girl’s magic powers and as it turned out there is twice the magic! He goes by the name Adar Sidahi and yes, it’s her brother we are talking about. Anyways, their new collaboration is called Volcano, “an experiment with boundaries, layers and flexibility of matter”. There is nothing I like more than layering, and with that being said, Adva and Adar’s way of layering all these piles of gold makes me want to reach out and touch each and every piece of jewelry!

ROOMEUR | Rumor Has It!
Just when I thought I can start preparing myself for spring it feels like it’s back to winter! You all know I don’t handle winter too well and so I had to come up with a plan. My plan is to stare at all this oh-so-blossomy collection by Hagit Kassif and Omer Poizner aka ROOMEUR (love that name!). And to think that this is only the first collection by these two crazy talented designers. I could tell you that the inspiration behind this collection was the unforgettable Frida Kahlo, but I’m sure you figured it out by yourself. Anyways, you can read an interview with the two right here, while I’ll be daydreaming about sunnier and happy days.

Olive Thomas | Maya Levi | Welcome to The Jungle
Maya Levi keeps surprising me time after time and this time is no different with her Two by Two mini collection. The super energetic designer behind Olive Thomas, decided to go back to her graphic designer roots and created the most vibrant digital prints of bunch of flamingos (which I need!), horses and penguins. These prints compliment Maya’s three signature shoes so perfectly that I wonder if we’ll see more prints in the future.
AND… that’s not all! As Maya is one of a kind, with every purchase of a pair, she’ll send you a matching t-shirt just for fun.

World Break | Jie Sun | The Birds and The Fish
I first bumped into Jie Sun while cruising through my pinterest feed and what a revelation it was!
Bigger than life accessories make me happy and when it comes to accessories my motto is the bigger the better and it doesn’t hurt if it comes in bright colors.
So, you can’t blame me for falling head over heels with Jie Sun’s oh so feather-ish world.
I have a feeling that this guy just made me consider owning a brooch for the first time!

Norman & Bella | Tal Arbel | Manly Me
If there was one time that I wished I was a man, it was when I bumped into Norman & Bella‘s Men’s collection.
I stopped keeping track of all my oxford shoes, but if there is a god out there, Tal Arbel, the designer behind this super slick brand, was thinking about all the ladies who really like the manly look. Size six and seven are awaiting just for us. Am I right, Tal?
FYI, there is a Her collection as well.

Shani Lax | All That Jazz
I’m super excited to introduce you to one more shoe designer, that used to be behind the scene, and now moved to the center stage with her LAX shoes.
Tap your shoes and welcome the glitz, gloss and glamorous Miss Shani Lax!
Shani’s debut mini collection surly gives you an “all that jazz” kind of feeling. On one hand, Shani was inspired by the Jazz dance shoes of the 20′s and on the other hand by the gray world of the working class during the great depression.
I guess we can look at it as a functional glam!

Lee Schein | Blue Friday
I’m not really sure what I think about the color blue. I own one or two blueish pants but that’s about it. You know, I’m more of a yellow kind of gal. BUT, when Lee Schein told me about her oh-so-blue and fab brand new collection of felted necklaces, I knew I had to spread the word out there. Who knows, maybe the next step will be twisting Lee’s arm and make her make a yellow version of this extra special beaded necklaces. I have a feeling that Lee spent sooooooo much time making each and every bead that it’s almost outrageous! FYI, Lee is also one hell of an illustrator. I thought you’d like to refresh your memory ;)

Shani Bar | The Summer Swan and Other Shoes
I’m not sure if I need to say too much other than saying Shani Bar!
I mean, this major shoe designer knows how to touch my heart or better yet, my feet. And as we are heading towards spring, color is the name of the game and Shani defiantly knows how to spice things up! One of the things I love most about Shani’s work is that in each and every collection (after listening to her costumers) there is another take on some of the old favorite shoes.
Just one last confession, I’m obsessed with the summer swan (and now all is left to do is pray for a flat version).

Colle’cte | One More Bag and I’m Done…
Tal Drori and Asaf Shem-Tov, the two behind “Colle’cte”, know how to design show stoppers.
I first bumped into their corked bags about six months ago and I knew that I need to start following them!
Fast forward to March 2013 and they sure didn’t disappoint. Tal and Asaf just launched their summer 2013 capsule collection and I’m having a hard time to stop thinking about these extra special structured bags.
You know me, I fall head over heals in a split of a second when it comes to bags but you won’t blame me when you see this beauty!

Dikla Levsky | Wear Your Art
Wherever I turn my head I see a crazy good textile designer who blows my mind. Just when I think I can’t find anyone who can top it, I find the next exciting designer (not that I’m complaining!).
Lately, thanks to the fab designer Mika Barr, I discovered one of her studio mates, Dikla Levsky and what a revelation it was! In her brand new Art to Wear collection, Dikla, uses her skills as a master of hand screen printing to bring to life the richest and most colorful scarfs. Oh… If you look closely you’ll find some breathtaking details…

Shiri Avda | The Branch
The moment you get to meet a designer in real life and realize that you found yourself a rare gem is priceless!
Shiri Avda, the one behind the most amazing paper jewelry out there just launched her first collection and what a collection it is! I was lucky enough to get a glimpse when she just began (I LOVE PROTOTYPES!). And then about two months ago I visited her cozy studio and got to see the end result of a long process.
I’m obsessed with Shiri’s rings and with this one in particular. The bubbly texture and delicate structure is like no other!

World Break | byAMT | Wear Your Quilt
Sometimes I wish I could gather all my designer friends in one room and force them to share with me their best designer friends (hint, hint 9367845 designers I need to know off).
Thanks to my sweetest friend Ruta I bumped onto Alissia Melka-Teichroew‘s oh-so-heavenly byAMT world of accessories! To me, Alissia’s Quilt Collection is the real deal. While using 3D Printing, she manages to transform and bring to life the most amazing textured jewelry out there. When your starting point is a quilt and you end up with this rad accessories the world is your oyster!
